5 Reasons Why Travelers Are Successful At Life

This is a guest post by Mukta Dhiman who is a passionate writer and blogger in various niches and loves to live positive side of life. Travel, reading, and dogs are her defining passions

In this competitive environment, we all become a robot who performed their daily routines – The endless studies, The 9-5 job, Meaningless success – having a job in MNC, owning a car, home, and have savings. Though we don’t want to have this lifestyle but still due to some personal responsibilities, we are bound to live a life that we actually hate and it can be tough to break these life’s rules.

For most of us, even if we are doing what we love in our job, it’s a challenge to keep the inspiring and motivation level high. At some point, we all get frustrated with the same routine we follow in our daily lives and gradually we often forget that we are humans and we need vacations.

Travelling is the best way to enjoy the life to the fullest. Who won’t have the desire to travel the whole world in his life? I think around 99.99% folks have the desire to travel the world and after reading the below reasons – why travelers have better lives than you, I am sure most of you, at least, think to plan your next vacation very soon.

5 Reasons Why Travelers Are Successful At Life

#1 A traveler’s mind is more curious

As you land at a new place or a new country and enter into entirely different culture, you know very well that you are at a place which is completely unknown- on the edge of taking a bus to an unknown city, adapt new climatic temperature, walk down an unfamiliar street, sounds of different folks that don’t even know your name. You will be there to explore and continuously you think how to adjust with this new place.

#2 Travelers have a good common sense and intuition power

In an era where we can find everything by just searching on Google, where face to face communication is on the decrease and instead we can find our way on Google map, this all forces us to use our common sense and intuition at the new place. On a journey to a different place and to spend a night in the unknown world- only our intuition can help us how to hold ourselves, how to read body languages of unknown folks, how to find locals and also gives us the courage to talk to strangers.

#3 Travelers know that the essence of life is the time we have right now

Travelers are a different breed. They are open, deprived of fashion and richness, curious and above all – not in a rush like society life. They have time to listen what’s going on around them. They have guts to say “Yes” to something they actually want and have the courage to put their Smartphone and laptop away (maybe coz they can’t afford Wi-Fi every time). Above all, they have time to communicate with the people around them.

#4 Travelers lead the world in a better way and appreciate everything they experience in life

As we explore the new places, customs, traditions, languages, and most importantly new ways of life, our minds open to different habits, beliefs, traditions or we can say the reality of life. We experience a diverse world where we live and with this understanding come an appreciation for the life we actually have and then we will back to the main point of society – family, house, and friends. We start realizing the actual precious moments we have with our loved ones and appreciate how lucky we are that we have the actual luxuries of life. We realize the importance of dreams we have and also have motivating power in us that will push us to make our dreams, a reality one day.

#5 Travelers know the actual meaning of Happiness

As a traveler, you easily accept the uneasiness. You know it’s just your imagination of often asked question- But what about your job? Pack your bags, book a ticket, say goodbye to your loved ones (yeah there will be a little sadness that comes along saying goodbyes at the airport). Board your plane and give a one finger salute to society norms – Yeah! F*ck your daily routine coz “This is LIVING”.
